55K asking price.

that wouldnt scare me it depends on how it was taken care of more if a large scale construction company was using it i may pass because it was probably doing alot of heavy lifting you can override the LMI to lift more than compacity and people seem to just have to do that and that over time plays a part on the boom.

but as far as the jib i wouldnt consider it to much in your hieght because on a 25 ton once you jib them out even if its a two stage retracted jib the most your gonna be picking let say at a 55 degree is 500 pounds or less. and thats a pretty common angle i would say when reaching across yards and what not its rare for me to be working right beside the truck. half of the picks i probably have ever taken where at a 50 or less so a jib is useless enless your right beside the truck.

to me thats steep get on the treetrader and for between 50-80k you can get a larger compacity newer crane for that kinda bread. ive seen some nice cranes go for in the low 50's alot 2000 and newer trucks 30 ton and up compacity.

This unit is very local to me, and was for sale all last season for the same asking price. I can probably shave at least 10K off with relative ease. So how's 40-45K sound?

thats not bad it all depends on the machine without seeing it your gonna know better than me. depending on what your budget is look check out the kbooms after talking to guys like ALLMARK and mike poor i was sold mine shows up on tuesday next week finally i been waiting since june but at 100 feet it will out pick and altec 30 ton in every aspect almost enless your right beside the truck. but how often does that happen. im excited to try it.

ya i do have some but thier of previous customers trucks ive never even seen it yet its at timberland trucks in virginia at the moment getting the final touches on it. but i put it on an international and i bought a copma boom with winch line like a crane grapple and the radio remote control threw the bucket in the package also.

the reason i did it was that i can run the crane from the tree i dont have anyone i want running a crane over my head yet enless its a guy a paid and is a CCO. so before i buy a crane ill have me an opertator that i trust and knows what hes doing.

price wise it is alot cheaper to buy a stick crane but thats all it can be mine hauls logs you can chip into it the whole nine yards plus its a bucket truck grapple truck and a crane. imagine being able to reach out 70 feet and pick up a log off the ground with a grapple and use the same truck as a crane? slick huh

a decent sized boom is gonna run 100-200k new then you gotta get a truck to put it on so thats why you see so few of them thier not cheap.

you can put a fortune into one if you put all the toys on it.

thier a guy selling a nice palfinger up by me on a 2008 international at 75 foot it will lift over a ton horizontal off the ground. its going for around 150k

Come check it out if you like thats the best selling point your more then welcome to come see it once it arrives ive offered that to many people just because i really like the guy that built my truck couldnt say enough about him. i will absolutly be buying another one from him by the way things have gone so far. i would like to see him sell more.

i knew nothing about thies trucks and told him what i wanted to do with it and he built me the best truck i could at the best price i tried dealing with effer like that and they couldnt do it. he stoped me from spending extra money i didnt have to at many points where others would love to suck down your wallet i was originally gonna build a larger boom and he told me this would be effecient and after looking it over with the load chart and all he was right.

he drove to arizona picked me up a used 2006 international found the bed put strobes on it the whole nine yards for around 40k less than effer.

everything is new on the truck except the truck saved alot of money right thier$$ thier barking out over 100g's for a cab and chassis thies days. he found the truck for right around 30g's in top notch condition.

i like that little fella and it probably do you alright being in the city like you are where most of your work is, no?

funny. i just got licensed to run crane in the state of mass and have my cdlA.........

i mean hey if you really serious about being big time and all.

I would get " experiance" first.

I'm sure you meant to write "experience"

Nothing wrong with making an educated purchase Dan. Not everyone has to be an expert on everything in order to buy equipment for their company, do you think every succesful owner was born with all the answers? Or maybe I should lay off my employees and shut down my compnay and go work with Mayer or Marqui for a year to "get experience" then revisit the idea lol.....

And J, I believe I still have your number, and would really like to meet with you in person soon. I am in sort of a "transitional stage" right now, and am looking forward to this coming year with a new outlook and much nicer equipment than what I've been working with thus far..
