Today I had to go a dump with scales. My 94 f 350 & 6 x 14 loaded dump trailer with a 3 man crew and gear came to 18090 pounds. After dumping it came to 12000 pounds. I often load my JD 325 on the truck and trailer combo. JD is 9500 lb. I had no idea i was that heavy. Guys becareful laoding your trucks.

Things can get real heavy, real quick. You also want to make sure you know the laws in your state regarding commercial vehicles. In Michigan, you need a Class A CDL to tow a trailer that is over 10,000 GVW, regardless of how much weight is on it, and the pickup is supposed to have GVW plates. I've heard of very few tickets for guys running pickups, but they do happen out on the highway with motor carrier officers.
