doing some digging through the archives, errr, research, I found this thread from a few years back....

which makes me wonder, weatherby guy... what's the saw say under the "stihl" on the recoil cover?

The Saw is a MS 660 Brazilian Jungle Saw, however it does not say 'made in brazil' under the Stihl under the recoil cover. I actually bought the saw from the guy who has the 066 Brazilian Jungle saw in the link you listed above. He purchased a few 066's and the new MS 660 (that I bought from him) from the guy who had a stockpile of them in Florida. Thinking I am going to just keep the the saw as i purchased it (ie original Brazil) and not put the dual port muff cover that I bought for it on the saw. Can't imagine there being any perceptable difference in performance. Kind of cool to have a saw that is sort of different.

thx

My 66 magnum has the same exhaust (but this is still the backward nation where 090's can be brought), I have just been liberating it a bit more. The front port is only 35mm by 12mm. Side port Im not sure of.
Im going to do a woods port on it. My first!
