Finally finished my 372 rebuild.

In the 372xp PL there are 3 different numbers (and consequently 3 mufflers) for different style muffs. The one we get (spark arrestor, restricted blahdity blah), the one shown here, and the "jungle" muffler. I dont know if the one shown here is the "jungle muffler" but I know you can get that style on fleabay pretty reasonable from a couple distributors.

They do work nicely for muffler modded saws...as the TOP deflector/screen is N/A so therefore does NOT need to be factored in when calculating outlet sizes for a muffler mod... and doesn't have to be welded shut. works nicely

That muffler is the same as the one that is on my 2171, it's probably an european-only type of thing, I imagine.

same muffler as my 365 has!
My Dad´s 353 has a muffler of the same type!

Well, duh me, I missed the Germany/European connection.

I was wondering about the "jungle" mufflers that were showing up on eBay, now I know :monkey:.
