Anybody ever treat, or know of a treatment for Cleveland Pear trees that have fireblight, OTHER than treating them in the spring when flowering? (besides cultural practices)
From what I read, spraying is only done in the flowering period.
I was wondering if arborjet's phosphojet (http://www.arborjet.com/label/PHOSPHO-jetinsert8.5x11_3_31.pdf ) would be very helpful or not, i dont see where the label specifies a particular time of year to treat, as long as uptake is achievable.... Just not sure if it is that helpful..
Also, fireblight usually does NOT kill more mature trees does it, but rather they usually recover, right?
Any thots or experience on this is appreciated....
