Follow-up

Guys, I just wanted to comment on this thread. This discussion is exactly the reason I was so happy to find this web-site. I cut maybe 4 cords a year for personal use and friends and have been doing so for about 8-10years. My training has been all OJT and discussions with friends. I didn't focus on technique and safety equipment enough until I bounced my saw off of my leg about 7 years ago. After a trip to the hospital I finally got serious with safety equipment and reading and practicing techniques. Discussions and picture such as these are invaluable to me. I hope other casual cutters gain as much from this as I have. Thanks guys.

Not so much that I was cutting firewood yesterday, I was just showing off my 88 hp. 088 KD to see how far I could shoot the sawdust.
I think it shot about 756.38 ft. in 3 sec.

good thing this guy was not wearing his chaps. they may have been damaged by the saw.
