I'm buying a small Chomper to cut & split firewood. What would be a fair price to go to someones house and process their wood? Green cut & split goes for around $180 & tree lenth is $90 a cord. I think I should charge expences to and from and fifty a cord. Does that sound fair? I have a full time job so its a hobby (for now). The price will probably increase as oil rises.

Hey Mill I'd take a look at Hudson's Badger Processor if you havent already bought the chomper. I too was gunna buy a chomper but opted for the badger. 1 thing that really turned me off the comper was that it splinters frozen wood. So not being able to run below freezing was a real show stopper for me. I want to be able to work anytime I feel the need too.
I bought the Badger a couple week ago and Im happy so far. Just something to look at.
