firewood sales
Hi, D&B MACK,what you heard from the woman about wet wood my hears all the
time,we have a friend that sold firewood for years and what he told us that wood is like a sponge even if it is dry and under cover he once you get out into
the truck and deliver it can soak up water and if not covered back up it will take
a while to dry back to where you started with.
While i am doing a reply my son just started a firewood site and we were trying to figure out how to keep it dry and i came up with the idea of using a roll of
6mil plastic that i have that you put down for cement and was going to use some rebar that i have and make a cover with a peak and leave about 11/2 foot
area at the base for air flow,the roll is 20ft.x50ft. and if i do it right i will have
about 2ft. above the wood.thank's
