28-30" White oak right outside my front door. I debated cutting it down for quite a while because I liked the look, and the shade, but the center part was dead and all the weight was hanging over the house..

Trimmed it up as much as I could with My Stihl Kombi pole saw, and then dropped her. I took a video with my iphone, so quality isnt the greatest. It is uploading now.

I used a 7900 with a 28" Stihl ES bar and chain to drop it, then the 5100, MS360 and my 372 to cut her up. more pics and video to come.

Before... the tree to the right...

short video... I filmed the whole thing, but got hung up with some wedges and had to run to the truck to get them... the cheap ones kept spitting out when i tried stacking them.

just a little 32valve 4.6L 281 cubic inch motor. Makes 474hp and 495 ft/lbs at the wheels. Getting ready to bolt a bigger blower on it this winter

Cool. I am a Camaro man but I like any muscle car that will rumble. Savin up to get a camaro. Dont know if I want the LS1 or the Z28. Either way it will end up costing alot of money. Where do you get your performance parts?

I'm sure the first video is painful for some to watch... I had a good bit of holding wood (6" or more) when I shut it off to get some more wedges.

Uploading a video of the 360 pro, and 372 cutting some rounds up.

I'm putting a 5.3 LS in my 86 notchback. Going to drag race it for a year or two NA and through some boost to it. sad part is, that little 5.3 with a cam will probably run better than my 86 with the 342 stroker and a blower....

I drive only chevy trucks... I just love mustangs but am not brand loyal, I grew up in a GM household

I was thinkin 383 in the Z28. Or pull the stock motor, over bore it, cam it, and a super charger. Same with the LS1. After that a beefier tranny and body work.

Thanks.... I knew someone would comment. i normally wear my hard hat with face screen amd muffs all in one. I was in a rush and being thatI haven't dropped many real trees in the last few years, I kind of forgot. This was not my first time cutting. I worked for a tree company for years during and after highschool. I know better, but got in a rush. safety is a big thing, a little branch can really do wonders on you brain box.

there is a tractor in there somewhere.. that is the angry beaver that I built the whole front end loader last winter... now i need a grapple.

I used these to store and transport firewood when i used to sell it. They are the metal cages from the 250-350 gallon liquid totes. you used to find them for free, but like everything else, people want stupid amounts of money for them. I've never weighed one, but full of green wood, especially oak it was allmy tractor could do with 700lbs of counterwieght. Entirely too much for my little tractor. (took the mower off and added my weight hitch with suitcase weights). I also have fulid filled tires and 130lbs of wheel weights on each wheel.

If you lived close to my work (in Australia!) I'd give you as many of those 1000L shuttle cages as you want. The bladders end up falling apart from too much UV light and a lot of the moulded taps start leaking and cant be fixed. We sell liquid fertilisers and herbicides in them.
I use them myself for holding wood :)

Nice car collection by the way!
