Nice pic.

In my new shed I'm gonna have at least 1 bench like that!

Thanks Bob,

You are The MAN!

I think in the last 14 months I have learned 95% of what I know about milling,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,From YOU.

And milling gives me an excuse to put some of those old monsters back to work!

Saws are meant to make shealves,,,,,,,,,not sit on them.

Thanks,

mo

That is very kind of you but there's not that much of what I do that is original because I'm just the same with people that came on this site before me.

In case some people might get the wrong idea I'm not some grizzled CS milling veteran. Apart from a few freehanded slabs I cut back in the 1990's and helping a CS miller who came to slab up a tree in my yard in 1996 I did not have anything other than a 50 cc Mac until early 2007 when I made my first CS mill. I have to admit that since then, in my spare time I have thought about little else other than CS and CS milling so I have put quite a few thinking hours into this process.

Nice saw,

The big brown truck brought me one yesterday.

Those 2100s seem to be affordable...at least a lot more so then 660s,395s,etc.....Not to mention the awesome exhaust note!

Well you definitely have wasted no time since!:clap:

But seriously at one point I started reading through the back pages of the milling section on this site...I read every thread for about 30 pages and the amount of time that you spent explaining things to questions asked and posting your own threads was no joke!

So I think that makes you the most recent "grizzled CS milling veteran" around here!

Bob is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Modest.

And a real Gentleman too, if you hang over at the Chainsaw section, you will see a Gentleman I aint!

I've been known to call out a few people, I just can't seem to keep my mouth (keyboard) SHUT!

Never got in a peeing match over here though.

Hey Sachsmo,
Is that bench mounted on some kind of track system to the wall for adjustable hight? Doesn't look like it has much of a kicker to support the outer edge. Is it pretty sturdy? Just askin cause there are lots of good ideas you see on here that work really well.
