flywheel (counter balance) on chuckn duck getting it off??????

HELP HELP HELP got a 68-72 12" chuck n duck need to replace the bearing but cant get the flywheel (counter balance ) off all the set screws are out puller on it and still it wont come off been told i need to put heat to it to break the rust loose ( who knows when it was off last ) all so it looks like they beat on it with a sledge hammer or something :help: :bang:
