foam type air filter

where can i get the foam type air filter material for some of the smaller saws, brushcutters and blowers. i have a few of these machines that need new filters and would like to know if i can get a small sheet of the material and cut them out to suit the needs...thanks.

foam filters

Look in the lawnmower section of the big boxstores. Buy the filter for lawnmower and cut it to fit the airbox on your saw. Auto parts store might have it also.

Larry, i looked at the McMaster site and see lots of filter material, now i just need info on what to get...any idea?

Our local motorcycle shop has Uni brand filter material that I have used to make up a filter for my vintage trials motorcycle that is difficult to get a replacement filter for. Just cut as needed and use a hot glue gun to close the seams with to make about any shape filter that you want.
