You might recall the recent thread on 200' redwood removal... I went to California to visit my 8 year old son... while out there i stopped out to see an old high school buddy and take down a redwood for him... So I had my climbing gear with me when i got out to see my son...
I taught him and his friends to use the throwline in the backyard and then thought it would be fun to make a little tree climbing demo video with him. He's been running the camera for his mother and doing a great job. So here's the video on youtube. Unfortunately the intro where I showed the throwline and cube got accidentally deleted. I think that is pretty good camera work for an 8 year old... I AM proud of him and wanted to share that with you all in a way that you might appreciate.
Also you'll see no PPE.. as I didn't carry any with me... just used what they had at my buddy's job. Please excuse that...
