I just recently obtained this 030 and it has a full wrap handle. It's definitely not homemade or "northwoods engineered" in any way. It definitely looks like a production unit. It doesn't show up on the IPL I was able to find. Does anyone know if Stihl offered a full wrap for the 030, or is this an aftermarket unit? I got it in Washington. It's like the Super EZ that had a full wrap, cute, but who would have conceived a need for it?

Don't forget the fancy muffler with heat shield that was part of the EZ full wrap package. I have a Poulan 4000 with a factory full wrap, which is quite odd.
It's not cherry, and I paid too much for the parts saw that I took it from, but I didn't imagine I'd ever get a chance at another one.

It does put a pretty good lift on the front of the saw when it's sitting, for sure.
I got lucky a couple of years back, and found a group of NOS full wraps for the big vibes and was able to outfit all of those that I have. I kept looking for one for the 4000 and had all but given up, and then this one showed up on Craigslist about 30 miles from home! It isn't great, but it looks a lot better than the rest of the saw that it came with.
