G372 Pulling Chain?

I got my saw back together from a minor rebuild and pressure test, think I messed up installing the clutch somehow. Every time I pull the recoil now it drags chain. Is it possible I put the clutch in upside down or something? I’ve never had this happen before. It’s like the clutch is constantly engaged. TIA

Tear it apart, you'll see what's wrong quickly.
It could be a broken spring or backwards or the washer is missing or on the wrong side of the clutch or the bearing blew up.

Check the oil pump drive!
