I got my saw back together from a minor rebuild and pressure test, think I messed up installing the clutch somehow. Every time I pull the recoil now it drags chain. Is it possible I put the clutch in upside down or something? I’ve never had this happen before. It’s like the clutch is constantly engaged. TIA

Check the oil pump drive!

you hand I usually take it off and give it a few revs and slam it back onave to make sure when putting the drum on that the slots drop over your oil pump arm or your clutch came loose and is sitting against the drum- thin washer first - driver second and clutch pack third and tight - start your saw with the chain brake on and give it a few revs with it still on - just the way I do it- if it worked before like it should then should work good now- china clutch drums are sloppy right of the box geneally for 372 or 390- probably machined millions of them that were about 10 thou to big and sproket a sloppy fit- like they care about quality- right
