The 84 and 88 are the same piston, the one pictured. I didn't want to ruin anyone's fun by being first!!!

Answer the piston question first...

Hint it is a 50cc class saw

Yep, I do know that 2nd piston first hand. I will keep quite for the others to play this time. Sometimes you have to look within ourselfs, eh steve, lol.

Ok, steve
give it a shot.

Is that from the 5000 partner? If so I would like to see the jug also. Freak did you say you had part numbers for the 490/590 pistons? This is good stuff I may break out couple of mystery cylinders for you guys to guess. one is a stihl the other I think may be husky, but I don't know. They are both made buy mahle.

Buck

Right on Buck, that smaller piston is a regular 5000 piston, which should be idenical to the Jonsered 490. this one is 44mm. the 5000+ and 590 JRED are 45mm.

I'll PM you the part numbers later. I have the 44mm piston here, but the 45mm is at work. I have the part number for the 45mm piston and jug, both show still available the last I checked.

Now, what are these two pistons???

Ultra has old printed IPLS. The pistons get improved and superseded over the years. The current replacement for both the 084 adn 088 is the -2007.

Use the latest Mediacat IPLs, and the part #are correct.
