Hello all, I bought a this chipper and there was no manual with it. The knives need flipped around for the sharp sides down and I don't know the proper gap for the knives to be? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well I'll chime in here. I have a BC1000XL. I have put well over 1000 hours on it. Changed blades probably 12 -20 times. Iv'e never rotated the bedknife. I probably should at least check it for excessive wear. I looked in my manual and there is a guage on the machine that hold the bedknife access door closed. I can copy the pages for you if you like. Just PM me your address. It's a great machine. Be sure to grease the bearings every time you use it, keep the air fliter clean and check and change the oil. Good luck with it.... Mike
