I'm using the T2's w the super wrap pads, and love them. I have heard great things about the Geckos though. I'd like to give the Geckos a shot though. I'm all about comfort.

I've been contract climbing on gecko carbons for over a year now. My only complaint is that despite being seemingly unbreakable (i wasn't sure to start with but now i leap around on them), they are so light that if there is a breeze i have to make sure they are put away before they get blown away! I would buy them all over again, which says alot because in aussie dollars they cost me $770.oo... but then again the other brands aren't all that far behind. I haven't seen the komets in person, the pads look great but whats with those girly little gaffs on them? would be fine for some trees but for others pretty useless, surely longer ones are available?

Geko's with american spikes here, about three years now I think. I love em but I've heard some people say they dont, my advice, try em first if you can somehow. I used a friends and got hooked, those had the uro tip, I like american better.

I have eight climbers that went between Bashlin and Buckingham mainly because of the cost. I was Bashlin from the time they came out. I hired a few more climbers and as our company does, we outfit the crew, so I went to my local Vermeer dealer "Russel" and we talked about the Geckos. To make a long story short, I have all my guys gear to include Geckos and they like them. They don't get to keep them-if not working for us. Anyway, good.
