Gotta snapper,(Poulan) s1838 a buddy had me look at, said it starts but won't run.
It's a 2003 year model.
Compression is 130psi on 5 or 6 pulls,(using my Snap On Comp. tester)
It has spark.
18" bar and chain in decent shape,(actually good shape, needs sharpened)
It's a complete saw, it's all there.
More carbon on the piston top than what my saws have,( I use good fuel mix, my buddy probably didn't)
Free, if anybody wants it, YOU PAY SHIPPING.
I told him the fuel lines crumble in my fingers and that means the carb is probably junk/needs work.
I told him I wouldn't spend money on it, and I mean it,,I wouldn't.
Told him he can buy a cs400 for 300 bucks, use ethanol shield, drain the fuel yadda, yadda', yadda',,,
He said "Pitch it in the trash can"..I will in a week or so, if nobody wants this saw, I will in fact, throw it the trash can.
My zip is 46133 if you want to figure shipping. I will clean it up, box it up good and ship if you pay the shipping.
