Hi there everyone! I am in the market for a 64" bar for my 395xp. Does anyone out there know where I can get a good deal on one?

Going to be used on an occasional basis for milling large logs, so if I can find a decent used one, great!

Thanks in advance!

I have a 60" Woodsman Pro (made by Cannon) from Bailey's. I don't know what kind of deal you are looking for but it's a good value for the quality.

GB bars are good for the money. 800-765-9357. Ask for Norm or Shawn and tell them I sent ya.

is a 48" with 404 any good to you? i also have a 42" with 404. both bars are in the machine shop to be milled out to fit the large stihl mount, so if your interested you need to be quick.

both loops of chain are stihl(full skip?, 1 cutter, 2 strap links, 1 cutter...) and about 30% worn and the bars are in good to execellant shape. the bars are tsumura hardnose, and i have a pair of sprockets, a 3/8 and a 404 available with rivets.

I have a 60" walnut log to cut. I'd seen 64" bars for Husky and figured with the csm I'll lose about 4-5. So I could do 60"...but really only if I found one at an outstanding price, and wasn't able to find a 64".

In response to the question of what type of deal I'm looking for...how about I put it this way...not $269 which is the best price I've found so far for a bar that size.

Then again, a 60" bar from Bailey's is $350...so maybe +4" and -$81 ain't bad. But still, can't a I get a non-top-end level bar for less?

No, you can't. Bars that big cost some serious $$. If you can find a used one (odds aren't that good), great, but it's going to be an investment.

Skip enough links, and it will work fine.
