Good Week...So Far!!!!

I've had a very good week...so far.... for a part timer. I picked up a 65' (36"ish dbh) Silver Maple removal that only has to be put to the curb....$1300. A 50' (24"ish dbh) Locust removal (started by someone else) that needs to be chipped and hauled away...$850 And a Norway Maple removal that is about 40' (18"ish dbh) that needs to be chipped, hauled and the stump ground....$650. Now I have to figure out when I'm going to find the time to do them!!!! Look's like I might have to take vacation time from my real job!!!!

Good for you Yukon - feast or famine it always seems.

Same here....had some excellent help from TreeTex earlier, it seemed to kick-start me. I was ?????in' about joint pain and a broken finger but seeing youth climb got my resolve up - bang those jobs out and have a beer afterward. I found-out that little fingers only get in the way - when we lost our tails it was the thumbs that placed us apart - not our brains. WE need to recapture our primate pasts.

Ya gotta have those every once in a while. This one was OK, but last week was a dilly. Monday I had a dentist's appointment, and he got one tooth fixed but the other he could not freeze despite trying five times, so I have to return to go through that agony all over again Monday. Exit the dental clinic and someone had stolen my bicycle Plus I as already in a great mood as my brother in law's illness had been declared terminal. Then I only worked two days and one of them was short at that. Guess I should not complain as it left more time for hockey. Anyways this week I decided I was going to have a good one come hell or high water, did not work at all, and got a lot of the packing done to move out of the place 25 June, though I had a gang of packers to help me for a half day. Plus I bought a new bike
