Got some firewood yesterday.

Me and the fam went out and cut a little yesterday. As you can see in the pics, the wood here is small log size. Takes a long time to fill up a truck that way.:censored: Anyway, meet the fam. The little guy had a good time as there was a creek he played in while the boys and I cut.

We saw lots of deer and turkeys. I even saw a coyote chase a deer over the edge of the hill. Unfortunately no gun to shoot him with. He was moving pretty fast. I would have missed anyway. We found the two hound dogs, contacted the owner and gave them back. They seemed to be good dogs. Maybe I will get one. a

Reminds me of what we used to do when I was a kid. Funny thing about it, I look back on it with the fondest of memories and my older brother absolutely hated it. I think maybe he was expected to do more work than I was.

No, I believe it is the individual. I have three brothers and three sisters, and we really got along very well as a family, but not a single one of us liked doing the same thing.

My cousins and I had a lot of good times cutting wood with grandpa. Two out of three of us cut our own wood now. It gives me a chance to go out with my boys, reflect on life, and solve the worlds problems.
