I had to come back from the wild blue yonder to grind chain and use the phone.
So anyway, I knew I would be missed so here's thumbs up. Having a blast. This Pine could get a guy hurt, so I take back what I said about softwood loggers.
P.S. Ed has gone missing since friday, I hope he's ok.
John

Sorry not my thumb, i think my arms are a little bigger than that,
gypo i guess we could be needed to cut a pile of white pine , the guy is to get a hold of me this week , the place is close to 2 hours east of me

I need a bigger truck. This is the smallest I have that he could load, having to push with the skidder. Have tens more sticks on the landing, 900- 1400 ft. each.
Just got back but leaving again for Georgian Bay now.

C'mon Gypo, no sense warning them trees in advance. Unless you can run fast!

Pine?

Did my eyes play tricks on me?How could Great lakes logger get in to a big conifer in that part of the world?

Hi Al, there's still lots of it out there, you just have to hunt it down. This has become contagious, now they want 50,000 ft. of Shprucsh treeshs.
John

John Way to go, is that your normal driver or the one Ed sent you since the last load was way to big.

Hi Mark, the driver Ed suggested is no longer in business, so the same kid came back and managed to get them on after I bucked a few to 30'. He generaly trucks telephone poles, so it was a first for both of us.

Hi Butch, that wasn't hemp, it was just another coffin nail. lol
Anyway, here's the fibremaster, a KD 385 Special, complete with 8 pin, 28" bar and semi skip 35RSF ground square. Only 2 grindings to fall, limb and buck 20 thousand feet or 22 trees. Ten tanks of fuel.
John

Hey, why can't I see the body of that saw? What's wrong with it? You trying to pull a fast one, eh? Well, I tell you....

uhhhhhh....

nevermind!

:D

Hi Butch, you caught me redhanded. It was the picture I was going to use on the Used Equip forum to see what member was set up to scupper the deal on me.
It's listed over there now for 999 U.S., so I would imagine someone from Tuktoyuktuk or Zimbabwe should jump on it real quick.
John

Now Gypo you of all people should know that MB is a pretty sharp guy , so donot try and pull any fast ones on here ok lol
