i just got a grinder, sharpened an old beat up 3/8LP from an old saw and amazingly it cut better than any new chain i ever put on there....i was shocked myself for a first time try. the cutters do look a lil different now than new cutters on that chain, mostly the gullet.
my question is about the left hand and right hand cutter. is the left hand cutter, when looking from the top of the bar, the cutters with the cutting corner on the left side of the saw (left side of saw being with the starter)?
i ask this to be sure about the vise tilt.
thanks.

thanks a bunch JOKERS!
i will take any tips anyone wants to give me on grinding, chances are i got lucky on my first try..LOL.
i'll be grinding 3/8 low profile and and 3/8 RS chisel.
thanks!

I just got one too. There is a lot of info on here if you do a search. Search for things like tecomec, oregon 511A, electric chainsaw sharpeners, ect.... The two things I learned quickly was small adjustments each pass around the chain, and light pecks going into the cutter with the grinding wheel. Good luck.

Oh, one thread to find is one titled "Tecomec grinder" posted by nelsonfrye. high life man put a real nice response in the thread....thanks high life man.
