Came out of an 064, but I don't think it's the correct coil for the flywheel. The flywheel is 1204 flywheel for what it's worth...the 064s had a bunch of different flywheel/coil combos, none of the coils I've found look like this one.

Unfortunately, there is no part number on this one. There is a 4 digit number shown in the pic, but that's meaningless to me.20220908_182922.jpg20220908_183042.jpg20220908_183027.jpg20220908_183031.jpg20220908_183020.jpg

I don't get any hits on a 1204 flywheel for an 064, i.e. 1122 400 1204.
The 1122 400 1204 flywheel w/single keyway is for rev-limited coils on 064s. That's the flywheel that this 064 has, but I don't think this is the correct coil for it. I've been doing google image searches for stihl coils, but none look quite like this one...there's similar ones, but slightly different.

Looks like the standard 00004001600 module? 026 034?
You mean the 0000 400 1300? I didn't find a 1600. It's similar, but looks a bit different.

Post a picture of the flywheel side with the flywheel off.

The 064s had a number of various cases with different mounting bosses for the coils. Some only had mounts for the "dogleg" coil, but I have an Early Bosch coil that only has two mounts and fits the early cases that have the dogleg mounts (1122 400 1300 coil 1122 400 1201 flywheel). Some cases had mounts for "dogleg", and later unlimited coils and universal types (0000 400 1300).

The rev limited coil used the 1122 400 1203 flywheel. As did the later unlimited coils, but the 1203 flywheel had a different keyway, and/or both keyways

If you have the serial number I can look up the IPL, if you haven’t already.

Week twenty six nineteen eighty five.

Everyone, thanks for the help so far. Here's the flywheel, the last four #s are 1204, it's a single-keyway.

I haven't yet, Ser#123839394. I'm guessing by the number, it's from 1991ish?

So probably not the original.

You will find this under the chainsaw stickies section.

I link this to most every post made about 1122 ignition questions.
Check through the list above and you will see 1204 single key flywheel is for limited coils ONLY.
Not sure which early coil you have in the box of parts you got- they differ from ours as all ours were German assembled saws and your coil has Made In USA on it- we didn't see those.

I wasn’t able to look it up by serial number, could be a typo? Part numbers I got off the IPL are:

1122 400 1203 flywheel
0000 400 1300 coil

If you can verify the serial I’ll try again but sometimes they don’t come up. Not sure why that is.

Update...I ended up setting the timing w/o the key...roughly at 25*...the keyway was quite a bit more advanced than that. Actually runs pretty decent now...just have some minor issues to address on the saw. Thanks for the help.

It's actually not my saw, but that's the flywheel/coil combo that I would do if it were. I gotta see if my buddy wants to run it as is or spend the $$$ to run that combo. I'm 1/2 tempted to cut a new key way in this flywheel.

BTW, that's the ser# on the saw, but I think I have a pretty good jist of combos that came on these saws now.

No worries man, glad you got it sorted out.
