Rocket stoves are a great option for efficient smoke free fires. They do require more maintenance than traditional stoves to keep them running but are very efficient. Incidentally I know the guy in Bulgaria who makes the stoves in this video and have seen them in operation with the cob benches. Warm up a large room very comfortably

I move around a lot so putting my current location is meaningless. Off topic discussions always happen in threads you say? Well get off my back then, you don't get to pick and choose which ones are "appropriate". Besides I would argue that regulations are indeed political
