All some good advice. Having the same issues with age (76) and tear left rotator cuff, I empathize with each of you.
When I got to the point of not being able to use my left arm without a good deal of discomfort and arthritis in both shoulders I knew something had to be done.
I constructed a table similar to a shooting table where you could stand over either side, mounting the base to my tailgate with C-clamps and wooden blocks. You could also affix to stump or tractor bucket. I held my saws firmly in place with two ratchet straps. This will accommodate a variety of saws.
