So I'm up at my parents in Nh helping cut up knocked down and dead in the air trees from the 98 ice storm. Kinda late but it's the end of the landscaping on a lot where we did everything ourselves. Were going to rent a big chipper and chop everything up for my mom's walking paths. Well anyways I was dropping a 50' 6" birch tree and it fell just about 5 feet too far to the right and the top 2 feet of the branches brushed the hood of his brand new truck and put a small dent in it, OOPS! quite a big plate of humble pie was eaten today by me. Woulda, shoulda, coulda moved the vehicles before we started, but just a great reminder that were all human and to take everything into consideration before dropping trees to the ground.
