Handle for Stihl 036 PRO

Busted handle on my 036 PRO this weekend. Looking for a replacement. Regular or full wrap.

I have to ask.

Just how did you break the handle without breaking the case. I can see a crack in the mount but that would be weldable.

Broken handle

The handles on them darn 360's are all plastic. They usually will break at the bottom next to were they mount under the saw. They won't hold up if you are one to jerk on a pinched saw, if you pinch the saw just take your wedge and open up the cut. Much better for the saw. If you get the wrap handle it should be metal.

Was cutting this weekend and put a new bar (Oregon) and the rivits in the tip keep getting stuck. The handle cracked on the right side and actually the case alittle, also. Hoping to save the case. Who makes a full wrap for Stihl's??

If I am not mistaken, Madsens has full wrap handles for the 036.
