from Bandit concerning a certified letter?
Man if I head down there and its just a sales letter I am gonna be pissed.

I just got a package from them about an upgrade to the saftey bar. A new part that needs down pressure to activate the hydraulics. Looks like you have to pre-order? No metion of price though.
Mine didn't come certified though.

I received one of their "registered" letters a couple of months ago and quickly looks at the package. It even came with a DVD. Upon a quick look, it had a bunch of safety features for my chipper (2005 65xl) which mine already has. As soon as I have a bit more time I'll examine the package a little closer.

I got that thing yesterday. Its just a notice pertaining to chippers man. before Jan. 10 2000, trying to sell you some safety upgrades (push paddle and mount etc., etc.). no big deal, and I sold that chipper anyways.

That is what it is. It doesn't appear that they are charging for the feed wheel activator bar upgrade. Its a litte vague.

They tried to deliver mine today.

Its a feed wheel actuator. Its foot operated and allows the operator to stand to the side of the hopper. The operator must have his foot on this device in order for the feed wheel to turn.
There is no mention of cost though I am sure it does.I haven't watched the video and if Oldirty is not in it then I am not watching it.
Considering I am pretty much the only person who operates my chipper I will most likely decline on the new upgrade.
I was bustin loose with an old Bartlett chuck and duck today... I think I don't need to say anymore about that except I love my little Bandit.

The deck's too high on the feed shoot of the Vermeer. Not to mention that you can actually chip the spec diameter with the Bandit... Bandit all the way!

LOL, I took my bandit to my local Vermeer dealer. They gave me some #### for buying the Bandit at first but they work on it for me when I need it. They looked it over after I bought it and told me "ya done good Kid"... That is after giving me an hour of #### for buying one. :hmm3grin2orange:

When you get totally tired of it md just bring it over to my lot and I will run your whole machine through my BC 2000 and give you the chips for a memento
