Looks like the same Chinese junk that often are sold in fake Stihl or Husky "dress", and multiple other "brand names", in parts of Europe.

As someone else noted, the "specs" are inconsistant.

It is obviously a chicom husky knockoff of some sort, or wants to look like that. Would it be that much worse than a hundred buck or so 36 cc big box store saw, which is also proly from the same manufacturing area?

Might be fun to get one and tear it down and port it or something like that. Or look at it, see which model it is a knock off of, then have a handy way to get a ton of spare parts...

2800 rpms seems rather odd, but who knows. Could be a mis translation typo and that is just idle speed. It might not turn 13,000, but it could turn around 9,000, enough to cut with.

25:1 is bog standard on all chinese two strokes that I have seen, but..nothing stopping you from running better mix in it, your normal mix.


ya ya yay buying chinese over 'merikan..ain't no 'merikan saws new out there, there are some "assembled here", but built start to finish, from the smelter on up...nope, I sincerely doubt there are any 'merikan saws, but if someone knows different, chime in, because I don't know for sure.

I bought a 72cc (poor stihl copy) a little while back with the intention of running it to destruction. I thought it would be an easy task, took it out a heap of times, treated it like i hated it, had a special fuel tin for it with a nice 75:1 mix of 91ron and 15W40 diesel engine oil and the bastard is still going. My mate next door is the new owner now, i traded him for a six pack mostly because i was aggravated that it was easier to start than the ms460.

So, if like me, you are planning to buy one of these saws to prove that Chinese gear is worthless junk then you will end up eating one of them nice big fat humble pies like i did, cos the one i bought would have paid for itself 5 times over in firewood sales by now easily and to say the same for a stihl of the same engine size...well... that would be a whole lot of wood...

Just for the record, this was the model i bought.

I like the smaller Redmax/Zendoah/Komatsu saws and bought a Chinese knock off a few years back. Zhongli was the manufacturer, it also recommended 25:1 and was under $100. It ran okay but quickly became hard to start. I ended up using it for interchangeable parts with some of my Redmax saws.

No, your right, they are an engine with a trigger and a bit of plastic around them that directly drives an attachment, they aren't worth any where near what they cost, but thats what we pay so thats what we get...

Outboard engines, now theres something to look at if you want to compare build price vs retail price...

A buddy of mine bought one of those Chinese Stihl knock offs and it was a complete waste of money. Put 32-1 fuel in it and it fired up ok but would not rev up when you pulled the trigger. After taking it apart and bending the throttle linkage we got it to rev up. Then we noticed a huge puddle of gas where it had sat. The fuel tank was cracked somewhere from either shipping or just a defect. Not worth the $150 he spent on it.
