Are you sure there wuz a Stihl there?:chainsaw: :jester:

Oh yes (Stihl's)they were there alright. There was even a MVP084 running race tuned pipe that I would have loved to brought home with me. But i just didnt have a few extra grand laying around for a really really good fast running 084 right now.
But it still couldnt keep up with the 3120 race saws. Stock another story.;)

You guys got to remember I own 3 stihls 361,066,084 and 1 husky 357, not that i wouldnt mind having this 375 I have had my eye on, so no BS just facts.

Its no secrect that out of the box Husky saws are almost always faster than Stihls of like size.

I hope that we're not required to take that seriously. Besides, define your terms. Faster to do what? Faster to be bought from a box store and immediately misused by uninformed homeowners? Faster to blow up? Faster to appear on Craigslist as "used only one time"?

Being I am not brand loyal or blinded by pay from the company store like some. :deadhorse:
If you are into REAL racing saws , I will tell you after being at the Luther logging days and Fife Lake woodsman events in Mi. You would have got to watch 3ci, 5ci and open production saw class, biggest they got made. There was stihl 084's 066, 088, 460, 440 and 026, 260 and then there was husky 3120's, 2100, 281, 181, 50, 346. From what I remember Husky was a clean sweep of all classes both days. They must have more potential during the building process or something for racing.
Stock who cares as long as they start, cut and last, no matter the brand imo. :hmm3grin2orange:

Hey, in that 3 cube class, how many people were running Husky cylinders?

Fred

You Stihl people's concern for the average chainsaw ignorant homeowner is quite chivalrous. However, I fail to see what all of this has to do with the pro user. How does taking care of the homeowner make a Stihl saw any more valuable to you? Or, perhaps you feel you need to be informed and spoon fed?

And all that time I believed Tom was da real Champ, I'll be dayuuuuuum :jawdrop:

I wish I had one of those little plaques. I'd put it on the shelf next to my 300 aniversary 288xp.:D

LOL...Still being your same old obtuse self I see> No, I don't need to be spoon fed but being informed is always good. With that thought in mind back up your claim and define your terms on Husky being faster out of the box than Stihl. Or just ****...your choice of course.

They weren't my claims. :chainsawguy:

2 partner cylinders I know for sure too.
The stihl and jonsered and others I dont know the cylinders they were using. Stock appearing is stock appearing ;) right. I even know for a fact that 2 saws were running GAS, not Alky.

By out of the box I am talking about no engine or muffler mods. I can say with certainty because I have owned/ran them that a 346 is faster than a 260, a 372 faster than a 044 and a 357 is faster than a 361.

Tom...........Make everyone feel all warm and fuzzy............start likin' Husky.............Please????

Hell Rich I got nothing against Husky at all. Heck I'm gonna buy me a 346xp when the new ones come out. My only drawback toward Husky is how they do business and treat their dealers. Far as their products go I got no problem with them.

Lately I've been more interested in flat screen TV's than I have saws. I finally bought me a 42 incher and I've been glued to it since Sunday when I hooked it up. Soon as the glamour wears off this TV I'm gonna beat up Belgian, that low life heathen,LOLOL
