You done that the hard way.

Don't want to top the pee stories, but did remove my own plantar's wart. Was in college and had a plantar's wart that was driving me crazy.

Pocket knife, fingernail clippers, and tweezers were the operating instruments of choice and I dug at that thing until I finally got the root of it. Took about an hour. Lost a lot of blood, but got that wart cut out of my foot. Took about 2 weeks to completely heal. Hope I don't have to do that again for a while!

I've been told I have a high tolerance for pain, but have to admit, that surgery procedure really hurt. Dug in about 3/8 of an inch.

I had one on my knuckle. The wart stuff didn't work. So.....
I taped the thing over with Electrical tape. Gone. No scar.

As for the ear candles, I should try that.
As for the rest of it..... I can't believe the subject matter!! :dizzy:

Clean your Sinuses.

Ok, You have to realize before you hear me tell you this that I am the furthest thing from a Liberal Hippie health food Wacko as you will find. That being said. Be warned this may be the weirdest thing you have ever heard.

I was 24 when I realized that my Horrible headaches were sinus migraines. Took sinus pain pills and they went away.

When they stopped working, the Doc put me on Clairiton. If I did not take these my brain would explode.

Ok, Now alot of us have been speaking of dust and the such. Alot of us burn wood inside. I have been burning for years now.

I tell you the truth now, I have stopped taking the sinus meds for 4 weeks now. I have not had any migraines since I have begun what I am about to tell you....

I started pouring warm sea salt water into my sinus cavity to clean it out. Just about everyone outside of th USA knows about this but I can attest to the fact that it works for me.

You can buy these at your local Hippie health food store. I mix 1/2 tsp of sea salt with 1/2 tsp of baking soda. I also make a tea out of dried peppermint leaves and flush all the carp out of your nasal cavity. You stick the small part into your nose, tilt your head over the sink and pour away. If your daring put a coffee filter over the drain to see all the lifetime of debris that will come out.

Ok, now the other weird cleaning thing you can do...
at the same store I bought these candles. they are hollow and thin. They are made out of beeswax.

Ok again this will freak your wife out....you stick the small end in your ear and light the other end with a match. Lay down so the candle goes straight up. The smoke goes down the tube and fills your ear. As the candle burns down it removes all the dirt and wax from the deepest parts of your ears. When the candle is finished you can cut it open and see all the junk that was once part of you.

Scott.
(not a Liberal Hippie health wacko)

I just blow my nose... Works every time... Only catch is I have to do such every 2 weeks instead of 4...:angry2:

Ear Candles don't work. All the gunk you see in the candle comes from the candle. Do this to prove it to yourself. Put an ear candle in a clean glass that will support it and burn it. You'll find the same gunk in it as if you had it stuck in your ear.

Ian

Welp.

The Neti Pot and the wax candle DO work, nothing like lasting for four centuries to prove your value.

Next you'll say acupuncture is a scam.

The ear infection remedies are all based on the same principles, changing the ph of the ear canal, so fungus and bacteria wont grow.

Your sinus, -mouth, nose, ears and lungs are inter-related and dependant on each other. One irritation to one component may manifest in a different.

Vinegar and hydrogen peroxide works well. The vinegar staying wet in the ear canal effects the ph, and the peroxide "floats" out debris.

The last time I got a sinus infection I was desperate -- the antibiotics did absolutely nothing. I found this recipe, mixed it up, used an old nasal spray bottle and filled up my sinuses with it. It burned so bad, it felt like my cheek bones were on fire, but the infection was gone in a little over a day.

1/4 tsp peroxide
4 tbsp warm water
pinch of salt
pinch of baking soda

Fill sinuses from one nostril with head inverted until it starts coming out the other nostril. Tip your head back up, pinch your nose, and hold it until you can't take anymore. Then hack, gag, cough, blow nose, until the pain subsides. Repeat morning and evening. It gets easier each time as the infection starts going away.

Oh ... keep it out of your eyes.

God bless,
Chris

This works well too!

One thing that I learned about and started using for sinus problems a few weeks ago is Wild Oregano Oil; take one pill at supper and it's really helped clear the old sinuses up. Supposed to be good for respiratory problems, sort of like a "natural antibiotic".

Hey I don't know anything about these things but I have a
remedy for tooth ache! Take a willow peal the bark off and take
a sharp knife and grate some sapwood into powder, Take the
powder and mix it into your favorite dip Copenhagen for me
It prevents scurvy and relieves any pain! If you don't dip
just use the grated sapwood like a natural dip cheaper
than ambosol and works better!

My brother has used fingernail polish to remove planters warts just keep it covered for till its gone. I think it keeps the oxygen out. The best way to get rid of warts I have found its use Apple Cider Vinegar. In 3 or 4 days it will turn black and die off. It has worked every time I've tried it.

Yeah well, Back in high school, our shop teacher told us the remedy for gettin' rid of the clap. Set your willy on the work bench and wack the end of it with a 32oz. ball peen. If you had a headache, you wouldn't know it, sinus problems? small potatoes. My favorite wood to burn is oak. There, now this thread is relevant

Dam? thank goodness I did not go to your high school :hmm3grin2orange:

I'm tempted to give it a try but can't get past the "hack, gag, cough, blow nose, until the pain subsides" and "gagging and tossing up like crazy" parts.
:dizzy:
They also make a nasal rinse that is less intense, might want to check that out and try that one first. I think it is called "NeilMed nasal spray", it's not as involved as the rinse.
