Looks like a old 034, the 036's had deco valves.

Definately an 036 or 034. I've seen a lot of 036's without deco valves.

looks 036, the air filter cover top slopes at a different angle on the 034.

Yup that'd be an 036 alright.

Not all 036's had decompression valves, I've got one without it.

That saw has a decomp valve. The black button on the top left near the buffed-clean ID plate sure looks like a decomp valve button to me.

Not quite the perfect fit for the three saw plan

Man oh man, I have been reading up on 036 mods. I'm going to have some fun with this saw. I tackled my stihl leaf blower, conquered the Speedex lawnmower my dad gave me, now its time for saw mods.

Too bad it looks like I'll have to move to the four saw plan now though. Something little and cute for limbing (you know, for the wife) and then something in the +70cc range and I should be good.

So what's the perfect five saw plan? :help: I think I might be catching something :greenchainsaw:

So, now that we've settled on this saw being an 036, anybody interested in the price for this beauty?

It was $135 shipped. I told the wife my 14mo son got it for me for father's day. She wasn't buying it.
