east coast

hey lostone;Norfolk,New London,Roda Spain,Holy Loch.Made the Westpac,via the nortern passage,nuff said.

Well Al, this saw (I bought to learn on) is at a friend of mines house he is wanting the saw, by the way he is a sub sailor also. He was stationed on the east coast. I have to give him a hard time and ask him why anyone would want to sink a perfectly good ship ;) and expect it to come back up. I lived in Columbus before I moved here, I was raised in Ashland, KY. so not to far from you neck of the woods.

(Nice job on the interleaved quote/reply! It's a little bit of trouble but quality work is always worth the effort)

Utah,big sky country

The first time I was ever in the westarn states, was 1965.On a family vacation,at 17 yrs of age.I fell in love, with the big sky country.Hunted, for many yrs. in Col.I am so used to big ,tall smoke stacks,of the factories, that I am now blind as to how to make a living, unless they are around .If I had the 'cahoonas",years ago,I would be there now.

It's not bad here, But I'm about the pack up the bags and family and head north. I'm wanting to get into washington or the pan handle up in Idaho. I find the more tree's I see the happier I am. And thanks glen, it does take longer but it makes it alot easier to follow the answers.

I lived in northwest Colorado for several years, and in the Rockies in Arizona for one.  I'm happiest around HARDWOOD trees, and couldn't tell you if there was a mountain peak anywhere around here or not 'cause I can't see the horizon.  I've just about got to walk to the driveway to check the weather...
