Help with old Sachs Dolmar 153

Has to be a rare item. If I thought I was going to put a whole lot of hours on this saw...............

What's it worth out of curiousity?

the clyinder and piston seems to me use to sell for close to $200 suggested list price.

Since you been into these fine saws since the late 70's might I ask If you'd be able to find a chain brake for mine?

Sorry no I dont have a brake assy for the 153 but ill keep an eye out for one have fun its a torque monster..

ok thank you.No doubt about it it has torque! And its bloody heavy.25-30lbs? I consider myself to be quite strong and I'm young but after a few hours cutting, this saw really zaps my strength. I've gotta learn to use the buck spikes more instead of holding up the saw the whole time
