I need some help with identifying a tree that I have come across. I live in Memphis Tenn. and the tree with planted by landscapers some years back.

The leaves are compound and on the ends of some of the limbs are these things that are paper thin and contain 2-3 round seeds. These things are pinkish yellow when they first come out and then turn brown as in my picture here. This tree is only about 15' tall and I don't know how big they get. i have looked all over the web trying to find out just what it is. At first I thought it was a butternut hickory? but then i didn't see those things on the pics that held the seeds.

Thanks for any and all help!!

That looks like it! I googled the name and the pics look just like the tree.

Thank You so much.....

It's been driving me crazy (and that's a short drive most days) trying to figure out what it is! :)
