The problem is obtaining the 1/2" chain, most people, myself included woud rathe use .404 chain instead, since its readily available. 1/2" is not made for hand held saws anymore.

what do you guys use for search words? I never see any of the stuff people on AS say sells off E-bay. I'm dying for some oregon round corner 1/2 inch to do a driver replacement on a hotsaw chain.

It normaly just comes up under the seach word"chainsaw".You have to kind of watch,because that roll of chain was listed as 1"pitch,hmm.I think the buyer is a member on this site.Come on fess up. Seriously,I watch it every day.My favorite searchs are ,McCulloch,Homelite,Stihl,and chainsaw,in that order.That chain in the sale was D3 Carlton,about 90+ feet,and 10 or 12 tie straps.Somebody on here had 2 loops of Oregon ,#10,I think,for sale.If you do a search on the site,you might get lucky.

AL search under "chain saw" and you'll get hits not lised in "chainsaw"

The only 1/2" listed on ebay right now is

But you would have to know Homelite 50 chain is 1/2" pitch.

I believe I was the back-up bidder on the 1/2 reel. I bid to low and ran out of time by about 2 seconds. My next bid was much better.

I'd joined as a favor to Derek to check on some things for him.

Then when I went back the other day, I couldn't log in.  I pulled the email with the username/password to make sure I had them right.  Still didn't work.  So I looked through the forums and saw your "I'm going to clear the deadwood" post, then went to the member list and found one who'd registered a full week before I did and still has not made the first post.  How is having them still there and me gone not "hating"?

Like I said before, put me back in with the same username and password and I'll visit you.  I'm not going to register again.  And if there's a chance I don't stop by for a few weeks, I don't want to find me or my posts gone later.  So I guess there are 2 conditions for me to use your forum.
