Looking for a rewind (need the cover worst but the whole assembly would be great.) for a Husky 268. I think the same part will fit 266, 268, 181 and maybe 272. If any one has a dead large Husky I could sure use the recoil side.

I need the same for a 288. I am not sure what other saws it interchanges with so if someone has one let me know. That is after you see if Stumper still needs it. We must all wait our turn.

Stumper you need a starter from a 61, 162, 66, 266, 268 or 272.
Bill G you need a 133, 238, 42, 242, 181, 281 or 288. You guys are looking for different starters so neither has to wait. Mike

Thanks for the info. I sold the 288 to my brother. I would have never thought the small saws such as the 242 would have shared the same recoil as the 288. Do you have one ?

Thanks rupe! I bet that means that the "181" I bought with the scarred up serial plate is really a 61. I noticed that it is a lot different than my 281 and seemed to be more closely related to my 268xp.
