Though I definitely feel it was a very poor example of good Sweedish engineering in that it could barely push over very small trees standing straight up, and as mentioned earlier a guy with a real wedge could push over 3 or 4 trees in the time it took the Nordfeller to push one over.

Thanks for the cool video, it brings back memories of the 80's and my trusty 254, which I thought was a great little saw that sold me on Husky, atleast in the midrange, 262,365,372 and 394, all great saws!

The 254G was availeble with Nordfeller from 86 and forward.
I have never seen it on 254 here. Is it possible I could ask for some pictures?

These never got popular as there was carbon buildup.
You must have had some problem with your Nordfeller on your 254.
With today's fuels and saws I am sure it would work better.
