Russ....Weren't we talking about testing Simon's saw againist another work saw? There won't be any race chains to worry about, and if you don't cut in clean wood it won't be an even test. My point was simple and you missed it. Making things more challenging is fine for a race, but you're suppose to be comparing motors, an want to leave as much human error out of it as you can. I have know doubt you'll be honest Russ but, do you think you can handle this? Maybe you should bring down ehp and have him do the timing. Hahaha! buddy Dennis

Dennis, I didn`t miss your point, this post was directed at Rick`s claim that he was going to come out and race someone running Simon`s saw for a chance at $5k, the powerhead testing is something different.

I`m hoping to have Gypo come down and do the timing, or better yet, Gypo can meet us near Kingston when we head over there. See, I like Gypo and want to include him in everything.

Ed doesn`t want anything to do with testing Simon`s saw and you can`t blame him. He`d be d@mned if he did and d@mned if he didn`t.

BTW, I can handle the bore cut, I tried to make it the rule at my GTG but too many other guys didn`t want to do it.

Thanks for looking out for me though. ;)

Russ

Hi Russ, I would be all for coming to Kingston to see and run Simons saws if that's ok with Simon.
But what I don't understand is why would you have to send Simon's saw to MacDaddy? Isn't that like sending it to Chris Ciccora? LOL
John

Im taller than Chris DUH! Man i think you might not like me anymore Gypo! I know its because I sent the phone # of your biker babe to Simon so he could give her a dyno run,and those west coast loggers have bigger bars and you just dont think you bridge the gap when she gets back

Mac are you picking on my verticaly challengedness? I'd love to watch you crosscut at Boonville.... you know your done when your balls are the same color as the track.

I know Russ.....that's why he's got his minion doing it. Hahahahaha!

But seriously, Simon's a fraud....so I doubt much will become of this anyway, and if a saw does show up, who cares...I mean really....who can't build a work saw?

HaHaHa

How about single buck

OK I'll single, I like that event.... yep and the wood bottom is 12" off the ground too. Funny part was that the hotsaw wood was way better than the single saw wood (at boonville). I caught a pitch pockect in the top part of the wood and did some damage the saw. Glad Taylor could fix most of it.

Most of the builders on this site,LOL.

No Ben...even you could build one like Dozerdan, all's it got to do is run slower than stock! hahaha!

Seriously, anybody can do a half a$$ port job and gut the muffler. Look at Gypo....and how his saws ran againist ehp saws at the last gtg. Everybody's just to lazy to do it!

HAHAHA
Dennis

Without a doubt most could build a woods saw, but to what end? If I can do it better than someone else I have no problem doing so. If not, I pay to get it done. Part of it is lazyness and part of it is lack of time and desire to do it myself when others can do a good job for so little money.

$200 to $300 plus shipping....not cheap for what you get.
