Thanks Steve, my wallet is substantially lighter, but hey you cant take your money with you right. I just sent it on its way to Ken this morning. Ken look for the saw around the end of next week. Thanks.

An excellent saw sent to an excellent saw builder. You can't do any better than that. Interestingly enough, after Ken built my 3120, he told me that he thought that the big Husky had more potential than the 088. Since then, he's built a few 088's that he's applied a few tricks to and they're real screamers. John's 088 used to be the fastest woods saw, but Robert's new 088 KD is probably faster yet. When John and I had Robert run our big KD's side by side, they proved to be too close to call, but Ken thinks that the 084 carb that was fitted to John's 088 at the time, might have needed to be tweaked a little better. Ken now believes that John's 088 is ultimately faster than my 3120. I have no problem with this as long as Robert's is now faster than John's. And why shouldn't it be.

Hi Rob, glad you got the saw off to Ken. I ered when I sent it to you directly, so I owe you at least for the shipping to Oroville.
Im glad though that my 088KD is faster than Roberts 088KD and Doug's 3120, and why wouldnt it be?
I hit a new etchelon in my saw selling career on Ebay, I got another negative feedback from a guy in Waco Texas after I sent him 3 sets of 090 manuals after he denied getting the first two sets. Oh well, I gave him the benifit of the doubt, but if I see him selling them on ebay, then I guess he wanted 3 for the price of one. Check out sunlover3.

John said these saws wern't "used". I had to wipe white stuff off mine...I thought it was canadian bar oil until I saw this picture.

John,

It wasnt a big deal, it was nice to see the saw before Ken works his magic on it. I just hate sending something like that through the mail, as I will worry about it until it gets there.

Do most people run 3/8" chain on these saws? Im having Ken switch it over for me. Also, im looking for a 28" bar for it if anyone has one by chance. Well thats about it for now.
