Good day from down under.

Thought I will just drop by and give you fellas a holler . My name is Jim and I am an Arborist in Melbourne , Australia.

G'day, mate and welcome! Never been so far myself, but my folks have been down under. Brought us back some boomerangs and vegemite. Like the boomerangs, didn't like the vegemite.

Don't forget to send your Arboristsite dues directly to me. I take Australian currency or working chainsaws in payment.

Speaking of which, what color is/are your saw/s?

Too cold to be spring, I will tell you that. I'm ready for the warmer days to come along. how are things going there? How is the weather?

We Melbournians don't like to talk about the weather , they say Melbourne is the city where you can experience Four Seasons in One Day. Just yesterday we had the the Sun in our face , strong wind at our back and rain on our heads .. all the the same time. Trust me I ain't making this up.

Ha Ha I dont think I have come across any one other than Aussies who can handle their vegemite :)

Thought it was a Brit thing, like marmite... how that doesn't offend any sponsors...

Marmite is a registered trademark of Marmite Ltd.. (not really)

What are your trees like in Melbourne??? I just met a good bunch of Aussies, in Orlando Florida last week.. VERY GOOD people...

Do you work on those big Gums and Eucs???

We max out at 125' here in hardwoods, though we do get the very occasional 135-150'.... Conifers are rare to see much over 90'...

Lots of weight reduction pruning and take downs....

Indiana is not far from the same.
