Welcome! Don't let these guys fools ya too much, there is NO such thing as CAD or FAD. They only say that to justify there own spending. I have been here almost 2 years, and have only added 2 saws to my bunch. But they were needed, you know. One big one (Jonny 920 super and then a back up Rancher 55) To think I cut for all those years with just one saw! What was I thinking!!

And that other bobcat, well, that was needed as well. Ya see, if I have one in the woods, then I don't have one at the house, so it was indeed needed. I was already planning on getting that trailer before I joined this site, so that doesn't count either, but it was needed also, of course. So ya see? No CAD here, just needs being met is all!

And oh yeah, that other wood lot I found this year was a necessity as well, because at deer hunting time, I can't get in to the other woodlot. That is not FAD. Nope. Just aint.

I agree with flyboy, I've been on here a few months and have no desire to trade in the old Husky for a new model.... and I inherited it. My wife and kids are expensive enough!

Please write all your contact information on the side of a new Dolmar 9010 and send to me in order to be added to the "do not hassle" list. Once received you will not get any grief from me about the saws, splitters, etc. that you use.

Just kidding you wont get hassled here.

Welcome, If your going to hang around let me fill you in on some ground rules.
Spending. 2-3K a year on firewood toys gets you in the door. 4-5K gets you in the noticed section and 6K and over lands you in the "wish I was him" top level.
Extra points are given for cool woodsheds, brand new diesel 4x4 pic up trucks, ( New darn it! not old ones!) Dump trailers and splitters as long as they are 6 way and larger. Wedges and sledge hammers get 50 point deduct while anything European gets you 50 extra.
Fiskars is old news so they dont count.

Im thinking about making a Holz Hausen...my only problem is I dont cut to a precise length, so it may be a bit sloppier than this one.
