The mount pattern of your bows will determine what saws they fit. Of course the slots can be enlarged and the oiler holes drilled out to fit other saws.

I really enjoyed reading the history.

I just bought a 14" bow that did not have safety guards. I called chain bar repairing and they do not have any. Does anyone know where I might be able to find safety guards?

Around 1985 I found a new Stihl with the loop bar at a pawn shop and paid $300 for it. I bough a 20" bar and chain for it, and only used it a few times. I later sold it, had seller's remorse later and tried to buy it back to no avail. Do not remember the model number.

I just received this in the mail yesterday! My first bow saw and a clean 288 husky!View attachment 436140 View attachment 436142
If anyone could help get some guards for this I would appreciate it!
Let me look around I may have some guards for some bow bars still, we used to pull the guards for Christmas tree work.
