Alright don't laugh! Also did a search....not what i am looking for! MY friend has 2 homelite 150's both with the same problem. Will not what so ever get fuel to the carb. I pour fuel into the carb throat...she runs for 2-3 seconds.
I am thinkin' carb rebuild time, am also aware to other factors. To any of you saw techs out there reading this....If you had this issue...what would be the things to check for?(i'm learning)someone mentioned a "pulse line?" I just don't wanna talk him into buying parts that are not needed. I would appriciate any replys that help! Also...I seperated the 2 halves of the saws and switched recoil & carb halves to motor block halves..nothin' different.
please help..he thinks I know what I am doin...don't wanna let him down :help: LOL

150s don't have a pulse "line", but instead use a small hole in the intake manifold that mates to the carb. There is a special gasket alnog with a spacer that has a slot cut in it as the hole in the manifold and the hole on the crankcase are not in the same spot. If silicone or some other sealer was used to mate the manifold to the crankscase or the carb to the manifold, it could have blocked the hole. You may check here. Otherwise, there's nothing out of the ordinary. Check fuel filter, fuel line, carb diaphams, etc. I love my 150s.

Good luck,
Dan

Oh, and I almost forgot.... two thumbs up on your signature line! Do any politicians of today think like Jefferson, and even moreso do any people?

150's are a bugger to work on....

They are a bugger, especially when messing with the carb. But I do like them, they have great balance and fit... and a suprisingly large displacement engine for the size.

Fuel line, filter, and carb kit work everytime for me in those saws though. I've had quite a few that just don't get fuel and the carb rebuild takes care of it.
