It will most likely need a new intake boot and also a duckbill in the gas cap, both of mine did. I found the intake boot is much easier to do on these than the 330's.
Nice old saws though...

QUOTE]

I watched two guys work a downed tree with two of those when i was a younger man, and thought, wow. Seemed light years ahead of my dad's super xl. I got a really nice one from a member here awhile back and love to run it just for the heck of it. I've run a lot of different saws since my youth. Not as impressive as my memory recalls, but it's a piece I'm glad I finally own.

I have 2. One runner that was in good shape, like Bill said replace the boot, its not hard and I had the saw torn down for a good cleaning anyway. Also did the fuel lines and rebuilt the carb. Very good compression and a strong runner. I have another, complete good vitals just havent done it yet.

Hey JOe, how would you compare it to a 3400 or 3700? Looked at a 360 and wondered if there was a diff. in perf.

I have 5 of these laying in the shop. One is a good runner and the others need carbs rebuilt. They will run on mix in the carb. Anyone interested?

I really like the 360's!

I recognize a lot of things in that picture .

They're a good saw. Hated to let that one leave, but they're on CL pretty much perpetually. I'll get another someday.

BTW, how's the 1020 treating you?

well its probably a local thing
poulans were hot here in that era
but this is the first 360 ive ever seen around here

as to why you cant get someone to buy one it is because of the marketing that the two orange makers have done.MOST people assume that if it isnt orange it cant cut wood,or last.
truth is these saws are great,i love my 360,it is my favorite go to saw.these were made back when stuff was made to be used, and to last.in a way that was probably what killed the brand, they didnt need replacing,or fixing as often as some of the new stuff does.

There's a 360 on CL here locally for $150. Looks really clean for its age.
