Hi, i have this very small saw a Homelite Super 2 with the handle on top...other than beign all apart for a while, it works. My problem is that the top handle is very broken up. Previous owner fixed it with a piece of unknown metal, so only the far top throtle button is usable. I bought it in a yard sale, with all its original booklets and case carrier
for 5$.
I was wondering if i should spend the money on fixing this saw, I need to replace the casing and soure the handle parts.

Thanks.

Pat, go back to the menu and scroll down a little farther and there is a chainsaw forum. It has a Homelite specific thread. I think all old Homelites are worth fixing. I have several old ones, mine are all big ones. But, I remember when the little top handle ones came out. We were using Super EZ's and thought the smaller top handle ones were too small. After a while we got used to them and liked them. Good luck with your's, and welcome to the site, Joe.
