What is best way to install new Needle Bearings on Crankcase or Connecting Rod? Do I leave the bearings stuck together as they come or do I need to separate them before installing them?
Also my cylinder has a small chip out of the very bottom when the Connecting Rod came loose. It also has a small chip on the other corner that may break loose. Do I need to buy a new cylinder? I feel sure I need a new piston. This was a new Cylinder and Piston but New Connecting Rod was defective and did not make a tight circle and Needle Bearings got stuck in crack and broke 2 bolts in the Connecting Rod. I have spent a lot of money on this saw because my father and I use to cut wood with it a long time ago. I am so frustrated but have learned a lot.
Thanks so much for any help!

How do I have the crank checked. I installed new bearings and seals before this happened. Just looking at the crank, it looks good to me, no scares or such, but I'm surely no expert. I have ordered a new rod and needle bearings and as soon as I see they work I will get a new cylinder and piston. Glad to hear you say it is an excellent saw because I have put a lot of money into it but I have gained a lot of knowledge which is priceless. Thanks for all your help.
